Thank you to Library Resources for the Islam wedding pack! We have enjoyed exploring all the different objects.

Primary 2/1 have been learning about making healthy food choices. Our Angel maths group sorted everyone’s favourite food and made a bar graph to display the results. We planned a healthy meal and then looked for different fruits and vegetables.

P5/4/3 are learning to identify and use adverbs in sentences. Great adverb detective work today!

We are learning to tell the time, all the children have worked very hard collaborating and focusing on their tasks.

*NURSERY DONATIONS REQUIRED* We are looking for any clear plastic empty 2 litre bottles to take forward our wee ones interest in worms and create a wormery. Please hand into nursery directly or the school main office. Thank you! 🪱

Another amazing Baby/Toddler Bookbug session this morning. We enjoyed singing with the egg shakers and claves. Our favourite word of the session was definitely ‘whoosh’ in the Five Little Men in a Flying Saucer song. 🛸 Thank you to everyone who made it along! 🎶 🎵 🥰

*NURSERY* We were so grateful to receive a beautiful handmade cushion this week from one of our nursery wee ones and their Mum. This is proudly displayed in our Nursery Foyer. Thank you so much. ☺️

*NURSERY* This week our wee ones have been busy looking for worms and other mini beasts. We discussed where the worms might be hiding and what the worms would need. ‘Worms like underground’ ‘I’m looking in the mud’ ‘They like the dark’ ‘I’ve got 4 long worms- look’ ‘I’m going to release them’ 🪱 🌳

*NURSERY* These two boys worked together to create a wonderful ‘frog’ with the tyres and other loose parts. Fabulous creativity and teamwork on display. Well done boys!!! 🥰 🐸 #MyWorldOutdoors

*NURSERY* On Monday we enjoyed a visit to the school gym hall. We practiced some listening games, enjoyed some movement with Sticky Kids and finished with dancing to some of our favourite songs. 🎶 🕺🏻 👂

Today Mrs Kilpatrick was at Moray Primary School for a quality improvement visit. Lots of amazing quality learning and teaching through out the school. Very confident children sharing their learning experiences with me. Thank you to all the staff and children for welcoming me today.

P7/6 joining other primary schools across the Graeme cluster for the Francophonie event to learn and consolidate their French!

Primary 7/6 have been putting their angles knowledge to the test by building a race track with specific angles to code and race our Sphero’s!🏁📐
