This is dumb advice. Finding refuge in ever shrinking pockets of the workforce is not a solution. Wage working to access resources is breaking down by the very nature of our technologies & economic system. We need a more fundamental change.

- suggest "ethical consumption" habits Ex/ Google search "Amazon alternatives"
- lead folks towards local business, non-profits, & co-ops which have goods and services that will get boycotters in the door
- even better build community engagement around self produced goods. Ex/ community gardening

I'm a fan of critique and solving problems found in them over simple rejection. We should piggy back off of "resistance holidays" such as these single day shopping boycotts. Present more radical ideas and actions while people are interested in these "blackout days".
