First panel: Vidalia is holding baby Steven, who is reaching out for Greg and babbling, while Greg frantically rambles. Greg: “oh my god Vidalia I am SO sorry-I was going to call you but today was just such a mess, and Dewey came by with his stupid truck again and that took me all evening to wash, and-“ Vidalia: “Chill out, Greg, it's fine. In fact, we were having plenty of fun without you. Weren't we, Steven?” Second panel: Greg reaches out as Vidalia hands Steven back to him. Steven is holding both hands out towards Greg, smiling. Greg: “Awww, hey, schtu -ball. Really missed Your old man, huh? Was Auntie Vidalia torturing you again?” Vidalia: “Pft, hardly. I just fed 'im and he was almost asleep until you got here. Must've heard the shitty music blasting outta your van, cause the little rascal Perked right up as soon as you pulled in.” Third panel: Pan to Greg alone. He’s holding Steven, whos tugging at his beard, but Greg is unfazed, looking uneasy. Greg: “Wait- you're sure he wasn't any trouble? No uh...weird magic glowy stuff, or anything...?” Fourth panel: Pan to Vidalia leaning against the doorway, looking bewildered. Vidalia: “...Weird...glowy...what now...???”

Fifth panel: Vidalia leans onto the other side of the doorway, crossing her arms. Vidalia: “OHHH, you mean the magic crystal thingy? Yeah, it glows sometimes when he gets excited...I think. He's fine, It's no big deal. What about it??” Sixth panel: Greg immediately panics, yelling: “WAIT, YOU'VE SEEN IT?! IS HE OKAY??” Vidalia is completely unfazed, flatly gesturing towards Steven, who’s staring off at something while clutching onto Greg’s hair. Vidalia: “I mean... does he LOOK like hes dying or something???” Greg: “HOW ARE YOU SO CALM ABOUT THIS??????” Seventh panel: Vidalia points a finger at Greg, looking somewhat stern, but still unbothered. Vidalia: “Look, Greg, I don't know what the fuck your weird, alien hybrid kid has going on, but as far as l've seen he's just a normal ass baby. And a fucking angel at that. Because even with all that weird magic shit, I can assure you that kid is a walk in the park compared to So-“ Eighth panel: Vidalia whips her head around to face inside the house, yelling: “HEY - HEY, SOUR CREAM, YOU KNOW WHAT MOMMY SAID ABOUT THE LIGHTERS!”

Ninth panel: Vidalia turns back to Greg: “Sorry, where was I?” Greg looks nervous, and somewhat confused, scratching at the back of his neck. Baby Steven is falling asleep in his arms. Greg: “... Uh... How much do I owe you, then...?” Vidalia is casually counting out cash in her hands. Vidalia: “Oh, Sour Cream liked hanging out with him and it kept him out of trouble for a good like, five hours, so I'm actually just gonna pay you. Go get yourself a fucking haircut or something.” Greg: “Uh...okay? thanks?? (I guess????)”

Someone here mentioned this comic like MONTHS ago so i thought id throw it out here. Firm believer that sour cream was just as bad if not Worse than onion as a child and that vidalia and greg have some weird mixed family situation going on. i wish we saw more of their friendship #stevenuniverse
