How could I be angry. There is nothing my child could do that would make me love him any less. We did talk about how to de-escalate to avoid a fight but the reality is that that does not always work. I’m glad that while he was afraid to tell me, he did so. ❤️

Little dude got in to a fight today at school. Never happened before. He was defending a friend and didn’t pull the first punch. He was so scared to tell me. I assured him that I wasn’t mad. He was defending a friend who was being bullied.

Watching a hallmark Christmas movie before bed. At the end my little guy says to me “mom, I really enjoyed that tonight”. Ladies, I’m being him up right ❤️

We’ve had people in this week helping get the house packed and deep clean. Despite numerous warnings to keep outer doors closed, the garage door was left open and our kitten got out. We’re pretty rural with a lot of wildlife. I’m just beside myself trying to find her 💔
