it’s cuz the color itself it’s so finicky, like it fades v quickly & needs light hair for it to rly stick to it. & my hair is already almost black on its own so i had to lighten my hair a lot to make the purple show up. so having bleach + toner + purple dye in my hair immediately dried it out

i’ll do purple again one day hehe but it’s one of the most damaging dyes for ppl w dark hair soo rn im trying to enjoy having healthy hair for once LOL
