Interesting! It sure looks and sounds the same. There isn't much of it right now, but sounds like it could be a problem.

I think it would be, with more seeds to grow and usable multiple years (the lamps, anyway). Would really have been useful when I struggled with all my previous efforts.

Either I’ve never passed by here at the right time before, or I just never saw them, but these are completely new to me. Only on one short stretch. Small, with heart-shaped leaves similar to violets but definitely not violets.

Red flowering currant. Lots of these around, and always welcome every spring.

Another foggy morning walk, along the river this time. Spotted an old familiar pink blossom, and a new yellow blossom that intrigued me.

Good idea. I need a different arrangement next year, that's for sure. I didn't want to spend much money for two tomato plants right now. So far, they're doing fine, but for how long?

Usually I was fine with it at the retreats, but sometimes it would be frustrating. I didn't have a smartphone but I would miss my computer and internet! I think the longest I went without it was about 3 weeks.

Good for you! Not sure I could do that without being in a place where it was required, such as the many Buddhist meditation retreats I've attended. No cell phones or computers, ever.

I was a real night owl much of my life, though I usually got up early and survived on little sleep. Somewhere along the line, that changed. It's been years since I've been able to stay awake late.

I rarely got up at 2 or 3am before a certain kitten arrived in my life. Like a fool, I took the easy way out and got up to feed him then. I get a 6-7 hour window, which requires sleep at 7 or 8pm, but does make the days drag.

Bummer! Damn computers rule our lives.

Nicely done! Most of us don't use those (when I was a kid in Georgia they were called chifferobes, we weren't very fancy) for clothes anymore.

Maybe. Spencer doesn't do this often, thank goodness, especially the meowing. The other tricks are normal, though generally not so early. I wish I had a basement, though sometimes he gets timeout in his roomy, comfy carrier.
