Not sure either, but the local angle is he bought iconic SF brand Anchor Steam promising to resurrect it and hasn't

I had never heard of this. Did it not catch on? I see an HP paper from 1995, by which time True Color systems were pretty common.

Nothing to do with Batman, but - just so you have a more complete set of data - here's a variation on "Jingle Bells" in Portuguese:

Jingle bell, jingle bell
Acabou o papel
NΓ£o faz mal, nΓ£o faz mal
Limpa com jornal

O jornal tΓ‘ caro
Caro pra xuxu
Como Γ© que eu vou fazer
Pra limpar o meu cu?

If the worst kind of fickle means having an affair partner commit suicide after he refused to leave his wife, and all of this coming down the same year as a film named "Unfaithfully Yours" is released, then yes, without a doubt!

I learned of this the other day. Apparently select members of the demographic swore by them. I haven't had the nerve to try one yet - maybe the peanut butter variant?

Nothing says sacrifice quite like a delicious, depression-era butter and red onion sandwich.

The closure passed in a city-wide election. However, folks north of the park have been grumpy about the +10 minutes it adds to their commute. They've now organized a recall of the supervisor who sponsored the closure and want to redo the vote, this time with only west side residents voting.

I didn't know they allowed cyclists on the Richmond bridge. Just the other week, chunks of concrete from the upper deck were raining upon drivers on the lower β˜”οΈ

Glad you got to enjoy the controversial new beachside park!

Also: it would be advantageous to be able to use it with Thonny in place of an actual RISC-V MicroPython board, such as the RP2350 Pico 2

Re 1), I did install the prerequisites on both Ubuntu 22.04 Arm and m1 macOS Sequoia which produced the module not found error. But this did *not* happen when installed in a virtual env. It's possible I could have made a mistake, but it would be helpful to confirm with someone else.

Some feedback --

1) This must be set up in a virtual environment, or else you get a module not found error about elftools

2) There are three typos in the "Running Programs" section:

"./risc-emu.py" should be "./riscv-emu.py"

I know!

Personally, I prefer mine with peaches, or just plain…but if all the cool kids are trying it with hexavalent chromium, who am *I* to argue?

How a Suburb of San Francisco Used Cottage Cheese to Un-Poison Poisoned Land It’s part of a much bigger story about the challenge of cleaning up contaminated sites that don’t quite reach Superfund status.

Went down a rabbit hole reading about the site of the Singer-Friden factory in Emeryville, and how their remediation of hexavalent chromium involved pumping 15k cottage cheese into the ground

The article title translated on iPhone gives, "Golden mini castle from Roman times found".
