Yeah I went to mcr uni in 94. MHH were tipped for great things but quickly surpassed by Oasis. The Manchester of 94 bears little resemblance to the city today.

To be fair I can’t see a first one ever being easy. But bring in major politicians to get attention and you’ll also get indie bands wanting to walk. Gets them attention either way I guess

Just had a look to check this. no wonder it's half empty at £71 plus fees for an obstructed view and over £200 for a standing ticket. fuck that for a game of soldiers...

(And I am so bloody minded and stubborn I’m going to make this label get to its 9th release if it bloody kills me) look how utterly great our records are

I’m not wanting to boast but we’ve sold so many copies of the back catalogue of records after the Murder Club release that there are no longer any boxes of records in my spare bedroom wardrobe….

(Still many boxes under the bed though - buy them, god they’re great)
