I appreciate that clarification! I'll take a look at that myself as I'm making my decision, I wouldn't think to check Github.

Personal channels are one thing, but if most communities won't move, we may be landlocked by social pressure. No shade here, tons of people still use Xitter, because to grow you often have to use everything to your advantage, even if it's using you. It's a tough balance to strike.

It's difficult. And Discord made it so easy for communities to put all our eggs in one basket, it's hard to find a replacement.

I don't expect a perfect answer, and it depends on people at large.

I love the weight in the picture, Frost really looking like she's balancing with Cult's unconscious form, and the perspective is *spectacular*. This is SO GOOD.

Well, on the bright side, if Discord keeps doing this dumb shit it's doing, there are alternatives with similar functionality. I'm investigating one called Root right now. And it has a mobile app and server template importing.
