- Proposed a roadmap for institutionalising the CSO sector in PBAR decision-making processes.

- And presented proposals aimed at making UN funding mechanisms more flexible, ensuring equitable access for a greater number of CSOs in the region.

The discussions highlighted:

- Working methodologies between UN peacebuilding bodies and CSOs, ensuring the inclusion of victims, refugees, and minorities to enhance their understanding of local contexts and adapt operational mechanisms accordingly.

Co-hosted by Grupo Internacional de Paz & @interpeace.org, the consultations provided a space for exchange on current regional challenges. The Consultations will contribute recommendations to the #2025UNPBAR to ensure more effective peacebuilding that is rooted in local knowledge.

Representatives of CSOs from 15 countries came together in Medellín, #Colombia for the Latin America Regional Consultations on the #2025UNPBAR.
