“Historic raises" for educators?

Adjusted for inflation, the average teacher salary is down over $3,000 since DeSantis took office.

That’s not a raise. That’s a real pay cut.

Florida ranks 50th in teacher pay.

“Historic raises” = about $20 per paycheck before taxes & insurance. Education staff professionals weren’t even included.

Instead of fixing it, they blame the same educators they’re shortchanging.
