My first reaction was that it was fake - as in the famous snow leopard on the snowy ridge beneath My Everest image fake - but it appears to be genuine. As you say, @nikolaj-bi.bsky.social it's almost unheard of. Maybe it was ill, old, etc. - the usual factors that often underpin attacks like these 🤔

Fascinating study. Kids find Wolf much scarier than Lynx, but support for reintroducing Lynx only marginally higher than for Wolf; most are don’t know. Nature restoration a more familiar term than #Rewding 🌍
