Edelweiss from this morning ✨✨✨

Hickory leaves start out looking like a bouquet of flowers with their wrapping looking like flower leaves and each unopened leaf looking like a narrow, green flower on the end of a stem.

Baby beech leaves, the softest leaves in the forest, are shown just emerging from the their wrapper. They are a lovely soft green with deep ridges and covered in hair.

Baby oak leaves have red lobes and red-green showing in the center. In this photo there are four leaves on the end of a stem and a solitary leaf below them on the stem.

I found some very ruffled daffodils on a walk. Now I need to find out what variety they are. 🌱

Sorry I've been MIA, gardening kinda took over all my energy. Anyway, met a nice lil fren today.

Our native plum blooms wicked early. The blooms can take some frosts without damage, but I’m worried about pollinators. This thing is gonna have hundreds of blooms over the next week or two. 🌱🌿

Throwback to last year when it was alive and well 🥹🥹🥹

Decided that I needed the pot, so I planted the probably deceased chrysanthemum in the bulbs lot and we'll see if it revives or not.

Little update on the garlic situation: they have been repotted in various pots with perlite in the dirt mix to help with the draining.
