What might I do for you?” I am seemingly immediately blocked in response.

Low poly food plate with wire frame visible. This one actually has even fewer triangles because I realized I forgot to clean up some extras on the plate. Count is now 167.

Oh, make that 167. I forgot to clean up the top of the plate. Took out another 48 triangles and you can't even tell.

Plate of low-poly food. A piece of cooked nonspecific meat next to a piles of mashed potatoes and green peas. Tri count: 215.

Made a low poly plate of food that should look pretty decently realistic at a reasonable distance. Inspired by a post I saw where someone went absurdly overboard on geometry and sculpting to make a unnecessarily realistic food as a game prop.

Oh, there were several. Parents trusted me at 10 or 11 to be able to handle some classics like Alien(s) and The Thing. No problem. Scary for sure, but not traumatizing.

For some reason The Blob ended up being the one I couldn't stomach. Actually only recently fully watched it for the first time.

I like to think I've done a decent enough job over the years of giving new popular things a chance and not hating on them just for being new and popular, and I have thus earned the right to be a petty contrarian about something.

I have decided that I arbitrarily hate the new horse girl anime thing.

Ah…well, I appreciate that, but the reason I mentioned it is because it was actually what I did here. It occurred to me *after* the fact that it was probably a bad idea and cheating myself out of much needed practice.

Models of my two OCs, Neiri (emo elf girl) and Tailii (redhead human girl.)

Mixed feelings on using a completed model as a template for a new one. I'm only just getting the hang of face modeling, so I feel like I should make a few more from scratch to really nail down my technique before I start taking shortcuts...

Comparison of original Tailii model made in February 2025 to Version 2 made in June 2025. The new one is better.

I'm never 100% happy with anything I make, but damn if this one doesn't hit the high 90s.

I'm torn on this matter, as I seem to recall one of the devs saying that people being polite to it was decreasing its efficiency or something to that effect. Anything that makes it worse is good in my book.

But I am also strongly opposed to treating glorified autocomplete like it has feelings.

Mostly complete new Tailii model in A-pose with very basic textures in place of clothing.

New Tailii model is just about done. Minor adjustments, maybe, then actual clothes. Might even be able to just rip them off the previous version.
