Leko The Robot

Continuation of my Nuzlocke comic chronicling the battle of Brawly's Gym. Panel 1: Leko The Human ponders the result of Harmble's strike against Brawly's Makuhita at the end of the previous comic. Leko: "It tanked a wing attack? That Makuhita's way tougher than the others... But Harmble's still got the advantage. He can handle this...." Panel 2: Harmble looks to Leko for instructions, his wing still planted in Makuhita's face. Leko (outside panel): "This one might take a few hits, Harmble!" Panel 3: Makuhita suddenly grabs Harmble. It wraps its fist around his entire body, ruffling his feathers and causing his eyes to bulge cartoonishly with a *squeak!* Panel 4: Makuhita VITAL THROWS Harmble into the wall behind it resulting in a huge explosion for some reason. Panel 5: Leko's eyes are wide with shock. Leko "WHAT!?" We might be in trouble here...

They will watch the leopards eat a thousand faces and refuse to believe it’s happening until they feel the teeth.

Same model. VERY slight adjustments to the mouth. Remade the outfit to look a little more Star Wars-y. Now it's a red collared jacket over a basic dark gray shirt. A little closer to the hoodie/t-shirt Leko The Human wears.

OKAY. WE'RE DONE. FOR REAL. NO MORE FUSSING WITH IT.

I just wanted to make the outfit like a more Star Wars-y version of the t-shirt and hoodie I usually draw myself in. (Also made *very* slight adjustments to the mouth area.)

My "Clone Wars" model after some adjustments. The nose is sharper, the lips are thinner and more accurately shaped, the eyebrows are a bit smaller, and the hairline is moved back so more of the forehead is visible. The whole face is also scaled inward to make it slightly narrower and less round.

With some adjustments, I think I got this model about 10% more Clone Wars, and 5% more me. (Don't know why I keep thinking my face is so much wider than it really is.)

Having a go at a Nuzlocke in Emerald. Started drawing a comic about my badass Wingull named Harmble. This is part 1. Panel 1: Harmble takes out Brawly's Machop with a single wing punch to the face. Panel 2: He KOs Meditite with a slap across the face. Panel 3: Leko The Human cheers Harmble on. Leko: "All right Harmble! You're wiping the floor with 'em! One more and t hat badge is ours! Panel 4: Makuhita stands a distance away from Harmble. Leko: "And it's a Makuhita? We took out like a hundred of those training in the cave! Third verse same as the first! Hit 'em with a WING ATTACK!" Panel 5: Harmble dashes into action as a shadow against a white background. Panel 6: Harmble lands a punch squarely on Makuhita's jaw, knocking hits head back. Panel 7/8: Close up of Harmble's determined, confident expression. It suddenly changes to surprise as his eyes turn upward. Panel 9: Harmble's wing/first is still embedded firmly in Makuta's face, but Makuhita's eyes are open and it is staring down at Harmble with an evil grin. Uh oh.

Having a go at an Emerald Nuzlocke, and the fact that I am drawing a comic about it DEFINITELY DOES NOT MEAN THIS BATTLE IS ABOUT TO GO HORRIBLY WRONG.

Never actually broken a controller, but as a kid no game ever pushed me more perilously close to the absolute limit of my patience than Sonic Spinball.

Always watch/play/read any series for the first time in release order. Prequels are always loaded with foreshadowing and call-forwards that the creators EXPECT you to recognize because you should already know where the story ends up if you’re experiencing it in the intended order.
