My 1st Taipei Pride experience and matched with Asians and Friends group, and it’s fantastic!

Monday night I will be tying at Commander D 9 pm - midnight as part of my rope-cation in Asia before Hong Kong.

I don’t tie much with people at their hotel rooms. With the few I do, I tried to screen better to ensure the compatibility is there.

How lucky I live in Vancouver and can access an inclusive rope space Studio Allegory with a 48 hours advance notice.

It’s so nice to reunite and tie with jimjustplay in his homeland, Taipei, Taiwan!

My first Shibari rope studio in Taipei at CatDownstairs, and I met yadakinbaku and pawinkinbaku as well.

Men Tying Men at PumpJack is on a 3 month trial basis April - June, provided the turn out is successful and it might be an ongoing monthly event. Admission is by donation, minimum $5 to ensure accessibility.

1/2 proceeds this month will be donated to Vancouver Men in Leather.

The more I tie, the less I know about rope. Perhaps I need to pay more attention to my friend in rope than my intention to tie. I feel grateful to tie with most wonderful people I consider friends, and hopefully good friends over time.

I just “fake it till I made it” approach. I do not have a set pattern, and i simply tie according to the model reaction. If the reaction is good, give more. If the reaction is questionable, access, then change plan if needed.

Being inspired by the previous week life drawing at Studio Allegory by Addietahl. So today, I decided to something of mine, first and followed by mimicking that tie. The person in rope loved it, so I am very pleased!
