After our "winter that wasn't," this is the earliest that my winter aconite has bloomed. It's supposed to go down to -10Β°c next week, but these are tuff little plants!

I'm seeing loads of posts from #KidLit authors (including me) willing to virtual visit with MN classes who are on lockdown or doing virtual school right now or just in need of something exciting, fun, or kind in their day.

Thread as I find them. ⬇️

I was gifted this small poinsettia 3 years ago and have been keeping it as a houseplant. Repotted it once last summer, but otherwise, I haven't fertilized or anything. For the first time, it is reblooming! 🌱 πŸͺ΄

2 eyes, 2 ears, 10 fingers, 10 toes. Normal, right? Toes, Teeth, and Tentacles: A Curious Counting Book, by Steve Jenkins & Robin Page, takes you from 1 to 10 and beyond, telling you about animals with that many of a certain feature.

After killing the CECOT story in the USA, CBS goofed and aired it in Canada. Now, as Canadians are uploading it to YouTube, CBS is filing copyright violations to block its further release.

But it's too late. Under Bari Weiss, CBS is state run media desperately cosplaying as legitimate journalism.

Mozilla has a new CEO and he just announced that Firefox will evolve into a modern AI browser. This is a good example of how management doesn’t understand its own user base and why they go out of their way to install Firefox on Windows, Android, iOS and other devices blog.mozilla.org/en/mozilla/l...

Agree. I have snapdragons, caledula, and rose campion still blooming. We've had a couple of snowfalls, but daytime temperatures have generally stayed above 0*c.

My fall/winter crop of mustard greens always performs better than my spring crop. Seems to love the cold weather. Chopped and into the slow cooker with the last of my tomatoes.
