A restaurant recommendation for Edinburgh folks!

I was out last night with a friend at Hoi An in Bruntsfield. Lots of good vegetarian & vegan options and the summer rolls were delicious.

Vietnamese cuisine isn’t something I’m very familiar with but I’ve learned over recent years that Pho is great.

Maybe it’s because I’m a colonial historian but so many of these white nation states seem to behave exactly like they did in the 19th century: ‘your leaders aren’t right for you,’ ‘we’re only killing you/colonizing you/installing puppet leaders for your own good’

Interesting that Iran is another oil producing country.

An easy way to stop encouraging this is to buy an EV next time you replace your car. They also cut local air pollution and are a dream to drive. Used ones in the UK start at £3k/€3.5k.
