Went to see Randy Feltface tonight and it was SO good but I am still so confused as to why the wheelchair space I had bought wasnt on a raised platform and in the back row SO I COULDNT SEE ANYTHING AT ALL

You KNOW your friends are real ones when they plan a drive up from England to see you on last minute notice 😂🩷

I MADE A 3D BEE!!! 😂 Which is just part of my project and took several days and I've not sewn half the legs on yet

I have gotten VERY distracted with an embroidery project I started at the end of January and my paintings have been gathering digital dust I'm sorry 😂

So I just got back from seeing Iron Lung... What a fucking trip 🩷 I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of that!

And she got really teary 😭 asked if she could have a hug and I was like COME HEREEEE 😭

And she bought me and my dad chocolate after to say thank you for giving her so much information and making her feel better 😭🩷

Had a woman stop me in the shop today to ask about my wheelchair - turned into a massive chat about her daughter-in-law being very sick and in the same specialist hospital I go to for my physio - ma wee heart broke when she said "I think I was meant to meet you today cause I've had a horrible day"-

Further update - turns out the wall underneath the windowsill was just crumbling away to fucking dust. Father has cemented it all up now 🥲 turns out my window/wall was severely FUCKED 😂😂😂

Update: my bedroom is still a construction site

All that to say - check your windows and doors folks 😂

The holes were so bad that in several spaces the foam just popped out the hole into the exterior wall and can see them from the garden... Waiting on foam to "dry" so it can all be rebuilt and my room isn't suddenly a spider molt graveyard and wood pieces....

Father gets his tools and a big ass nail, drills the nail through window frame into wall as it SHOULD HAVE BEEN. expanding foam again at the bottom. No more draughts!
Father goes outside. Expanding foam on the walls outside....

Except now there is a draft at the bottom of the window coming from the actual window sill.... How? You may ask.... That gets ripped off... HOLES IN THE WALL. OG window fitters never attached the window to the wall.... Holes all the way through... Entire window panel moving when you push it ....

So he goes and gets some stuff to fix it. Job done. No draught there anymore....except now it's at the sides, by the wooden pieces on the wall... Rips that off - HOLES IN THE WALL. Wind come in. Very cold. So father grabs expanding foam - fixes. No more draught there....

So I'm in Scotland right, we have a pretty ✨fun✨storm happening right - it's pretty fuckin windy,right....
Ive been waking up SHIVERING from the cold and feeling like there was a breeze on my face... Noticed a draught from my window....mentioned it to my father.... The seals are busted....

So horrifying watching what's happening in the world generally and not being able to do a single fucking thing about it

The post LP headache was UNREAL tho. Like migraine levels of pain for days. Alot of lying down was necessary for days afterwards. Honestly I'd still do it all again because it was a definitive marker for diagnosis coupled with MRIs

Oh damn so you have to get it all reconfirmed?! I'm so sorry that's such a hassle! I have a fairly high pain threshold so for me it wasn't too bad. The pressure of it going into my spine was what took me by surprise - felt like I'd been kicked by a horse & the air had been sucked out of me -

I have PPMS, was diagnosed last year, obvs I'm in the UK so I'm not sure how different the diagnosis trail is over there but if I can help answer any questions lmk!
I opted to get a lumbar puncture alongside the brain and spine MRIs just to be sure - it was a defining factor in my diagnosis 🩷
