This is wild! I've often wondered how much overlap/inspiration/camaraderie existed amongst women composers in centuries past. You've made quite a find.

As always with any AI, however, answers must be taken with a bag of salt til you can verify elsewhere. There's SO much disinfo/outright invented stuff.

Because BC would have to agree to it w/the west coast US states. And that is VERY hard to do. Language barriers are a biggie. Translators often get words wrong, which can lead to years long setbacks. Further hinderance is agreeing on a 24 hr system, eg 13 hrs for 1 o'clock, or a 12 hr one. Etc. 😐

Great example of build it & they will come & also how once infrastructure becomes normal/accepted, it proliferates. I lived in Boulder in 1989 & already there were a number of streets with bike lanes. Now, many the surrounding communities & connecting corridors also have accomodation for bikes. 💪🚴🏿‍♂️

I've been compiling a list of novel/fiction about women composers. Sometimes they're about real ones, sometimes fictional. I created it because from what I can tell, no such list exists that's focussed solely on fiction. Some of the books are really good! There're mini reviews of the ones I've read.

I rejoice in the historical ones we have (Mayer, Smyth, Strohl, Sohy, Barraine, Bonis, Farrenc to name a few) but it's heartbreaking how much has been lost; started but not finished, hidden behind a pseudonym/male composer's name, or just not written at all. "Why bother when no one will play it?" 😫

Yep - the infrastructure will be in place for all that oil & gas, but, *oops* no one to sell those products to.

Argh. Sorry to hear that. On another note (oh god one more "title" for AI to mine & write another fake synopsis) your report sounds fascinating. I've often wondered if the high level form/'get the point across sans fluff' of many works by women is to do with a need to get the ideas out succinctly.

What gets me: the sheer invention on the part of AI. As you point out, it knows nothing about female composers, save some random bits it scrapes off the internet that might or might not be relevant. But out of thin air! Like, "The Score of a Lifetime: A Biographical Novel of Clara Schumann" is fake.
