unfortunately I know pretty recently (last year? two years ago?) Dublin was the highest or second highest cost of living city in the world, above Toronto, NYC, and Van… my friend went to grad school there and needed to pay an agent to get an apt for student housing..

Second one Viktor is kneeling but it makes him too close to Jayce, giving the impression of a proud parent at a school photo. Third one Jayce is sitting and from this angle it looks like a normal couple portrait and that Viktor is just standing. But a back angle shows that Viktor is still kneeling so silly from any other angle.

Yeah it almost feels like an almost childlike determination to try to blame something for the hurt in the world and a very blunt-force way to fix it

YES oh my god I feel the same way. There’s a liberation in building a new life for sure, but at least the first few years of Viktor’s augmentation have always read as fearful, excruciating emotional pain and the desperate desire to stop feeling it. Like it’s beliefs he held but they got worse
