I finally put a dent in the 5 foot snow drift in front my mailbox at the curb and a plow came down and pushed all the gross street junk into the open space. I give up.

Snow, too much snow

The way the snow drifted left a ridiculous pile of snow on my front lawn that will likely be there for weeks. Weather gods, please no more, I hate it.

Did not want to leave hot yoga this morning after class. I’m so over these frigid temperatures and would just like to bake in the hot yoga room.

I got home from work late tonight b/c of a work event, and when I got home I found someone had run over my mailbox. There were pieces all down the block. My front camera didn’t trigger, it’s in the view, but didn’t catch whatever hit it. I wonder if I get mail delivered if the box is on the ground?

I hit the double commuting jackpot yesterday. On the train on the way to work was a very smiley golden retriever. On the subway on the way home was some kind of doodle that laid down right near my feet. The unexpected doggos made me so happy.

I’m free, I was dismissed from jury duty. Ultimately, I did not get picked for this jury, but I kind of wish I did because I would like to see how this case is decided. I did my civic duty though and am free from state for at least 6 years and federal for at least two now.

Since we have now fallen back an hour and it’s dark at 4:30, time for hibernation mode. Sweatshirts, cozy blankets, soup, hot chocolate, and no leaving the house after 5:00 pm.

One of the many not fun things about getting older is when the weather turns cold all my joints, but especially the hips, knees and shoulders, get so stiff and achey. Booooo

But I was beat when I got home yesterday and went to bed at like 7:30 and slept for 12 hours. That much sleep is both a blessing and curse. I feel rested, but my body is like, yes! let’s sleep more!!!
