Haha. That mid 3 should be starting each game. They need time to play as a trio against top teams to see if it works. Training will only get you so far.

Agree, imagine if we had gotten rid of some of them early doors. We would still have Minteh and could be on the road to a great RW and much better middle of the park.

Oh 100% but I would have gone for Wilock, Bruno and Tonali as I don’t think in general there can be much of an argument made against Tonali not being better than Longstaff in almost every category. But you are correct that even when he did come on, nothing really changed…

What I noticed the most was that we just didn’t see our forward passing work out, either too fast, to long, poor accuracy. You have a player in Tonali who is bossing national teams for Italy but isn’t even starting for us…2/3
