Friday afternoon. Day's work is done, winter break is beginning. Popped in the gym earlier. And fetched a birthday cake for our teen for their big day tomorrow.

16 years, can't believe it. Could be 6 if judging by how long it feels. Or 18 judging by how smart they seem.

The Arcs board game after we finished. Wooden starships all over the galaxy, cities and starports on the planets.

Got to play 4-player game of #Arcs #boardGame last night!

It was tense, it was thrilling, it was a rollercoaster. This game is good! And I'm glad my teen feels the same.

In the end I came dead last, but it didn't matter - I had my shot for the victory and blew it.

As the GM, I was surprised multiple times by the plot twists and the players' ruses to catch the killer red-handed.

I have to get all of this down in a playtest version soon.

Monsters of the Void Sea on the table. Portraits depicting the NPCs, an old clock showing time, character playbooks, dice, pencils etc.

Had a blast hosting a session of my #ttrpg murder mystery oneshot Monsters of the Void Sea at #Tracon last night!

The players were excellent, contributing to the plot twists and atmosphere and making all the characters feel alive.
