The fear of being seen and the fear of imperfection will be your grave if you let it. In other words, make that art and try that new thing you will be bad at. The world won't wait for you.

I am interested in creating and doing. I am not a "dwell on stuff I don't like" type person. The world has infinite amounts of distasteful or disagreeable things and I have never seen the purpose of wallowing in it when action is an option. I will always choose to actually do something over.

It was great to meet some fellow authors I’ve known for a while online but hadn’t met in person yet!

Also!!! Wow! It feels surreal to have him as an assistant and not the other way around. I am usually his assistant, so this is a change of pace for me. I'm looking forward to going back to being his assistant when more research kicks off. It's an absolute joy and privilege being around him.

Hard agree. It's hard to continue creative endeavors when you feel people won't appreciate it and might hate you more for it. I'm an obscure writer and even I know how that feels. I keep going because I feel in service to something greater than myself.

Wow that is absolutely not true. There isn't even solid evidence his first wife Rose was in a mental institution.

Also I want to go on record for saying having sex with men doesn't make you a pervert. Homosexuality is perfectly natural and beautiful. People who think otherwise are losers.

Some will say that you don't matter even if you are writing and making art. They will make it their mission to try to take you down a peg because your success threatens their ego. Fuck them. Block them and move on. You deserve to be celebrated along your path regardless of what that looks like.
