• Max POPS partition size increased to 130 GB
• Language selection added during install + changeable in the Extras menu

There are English patches available. You can make the console region free with MechaPwn. The HDD is locked to the system but progress is being made there too, it's only a matter of time.

Just a heads up, the RePS2 is now also available for the PSX DESR. I've ordered one. Waiting for it to arrive before I plug it in. Didn't want to use an inefficient step-down transformer and it's always a good idea to replace those ageing power supplies. rexusnexus.com/product/reps...

That's very odd. Artifacts like that look like a graphics card issue.

Not something I'd be able to help you with. It's a Windows issue. The script just turns on the WSL Windows component. If that's corrupting your dive, you'll need to take it up with Microsoft.
