I think I agree. It’s hard (maybe impossible?) to have a discussion in the media that accounts for the differences in influence and veracity of the two sides.

We (friends, families and dogs) just planted 50 trees to celebrate my 50th year (birthday not for a while) in the loveliest place. And then we had much cake and tea. And, it didn't rain on us!

Dhal baked eggs with spinach! I did not want to cook but it's worth it both for the taste and that perfect smell of frying ginger, garlic, cumin seeds, coriander and turmeric.

I am so lucky that I ca do it G. Getting to see Dad more frequently is such a privilege and joy.

I go to see Dad in just over two weeks and flipping heck, I need a holiday. Work continues to be a lot, in a million good and bad ways. I am so looking forward to time off, beloved friends, a west end show, Brussels (!) and not having to wear my professional face for a while.

Bother, I'll be out of town.
