Democrats should have never voted to ban this app to begin with and now it’s going to backfire in their face unfortunately.

However, I believe in the deal he needed to say Tiktok is “going dark” unless Biden releases a statement. If Biden doesn’t release anything, he’s the bad guy. If he does, he makes the play for Trump to save TikTok easier as well. There’s no way he wins in this situation.

Democrats are already not in the best position right now so this will only add fuel to the fire. I believe Trump worked out a deal with Shou - the TikTok CEO. I believe Shou just wants to save this app because the entire thing to me is disgusting what the government did to try and force him to sell

We all know this TikTok ban was pushed initially by Trump. Now an app with 170 million users that we all know and love is going to be saved by the same man who caused the problem. He is going to get all of the credit. This is very bad for democrats.

TikTok says it will go dark unless president Biden releases an official statement that it will not enforce the ban to “satisfy service providers.”

The Biden administration is claiming they don’t need to replace a statement and this is a”stunt by TikTok.
