I think it is both a warped gravity (love this btw!), but also maybe protective when we’re in dire need of it? Maybe it depends on the context??

Elsewhere on the peninsula (like where I am), it didn't happen until the Bronze Age, circa 1500 BC.
Only very tiny fragments now remain.
