I tried to get my then wife interested in trading for a Porsche 944 - we drove the normal 8 valve one. Disappointing. Then we drove a 944S. Better but still disappointing. We had to go all the way to a 944 Turbo to be faster than her ‘86 Toyota Celica GTS - We kept the Celica!
