A sample of the Report's charts showing four years of air quality data from Norton Elementary School. In 2020 - 2021, peak values were 2806 PPM of carbon dioxide; in 2021 - 2022, it was 2493 PPM. A mechanical ventilation system was completed in October 2022. Following the installation, the 2022 - 2023 results were significantly lower, peaking at 902 PPM. Levels rose again the next year, with a peak of 1419 PPM.

Bayview School in Saint John was tested in 2020 - 2021, and scored a peak result that met the 1500 PPM guideline EECD uses. The school no longer qualified for testing in future years. When all schools were again tested, results were much worse. No data exists to determine if either of those results is an outlier, or what the air quality was like during the nearly three years of school days between tests.

Last month, EECD released the results of air quality testing from the 2023 - 2024 school year. Data was again presented as a PDF chart, making analysis difficult.

I used their data to create visuals and a report, of sorts. You can read the full report here (PDF on OneDrive):

Peirre Poilievre has been in parliament for 20 years and the only bill he has ever passed was a voter suppression bill. He has a net worth of 25 million dollars. He won’t get security clearance. He repeats kremlin propaganda.

Our very deepest condolences to this child’s family and loved ones. Those of us who have been working for clean air in NB for years are indignant on your behalf. This horrific outcome is the scenario we have been fighting to prevent. These words are not enough.

Cultivating the Myth of Transparency New Brunswick Public Health obscured Covid-19 death metrics in the name of convenience

As promised, I sought to find out why NB redefined Covid-19 deaths and how that redefinition impacted reporting, and the response is frightening.

They changed the definition based on vibes, resulting in 2 of every 3 covid-caused deaths not being reported.

I’m the Canadian who was detained by Ice for two weeks. It felt like I had been kidnapped I was stuck in a freezing cell without explanation despite eventually having lawyers and media attention. Yet, compared with others, I was lucky

Still wrapping my head and my words around this, but here is a peak at what I've uncovered.

In addition to spurious rationale for abandoning the nationally established definition of a Covid-19 fatality, NB's reporting change led to approximately 44% of Covid-caused deaths to go uncounted in 2023.

Zelenskyy's meeting with Trump and Vance unravels into an extraordinary clash After the meeting, Trump said in a statement on his Truth Social website that Zelenskyy β€œis not ready” for peace and that he β€œdisrespected” the U.S.

This conversation is fucking abysmal, disrespectful and disgusting.

Trump and Vance are, to their very core, dickheads.

"A healthy democracy is characterized by a vibrant and diverse range of voices and groups, engaged in a constant process of deliberation, discussion, negotiation and compromise. Because of this characteristic, democracy requires a civic setting in which people can freely express their ideas. To create such a setting, democracy relies on values and principles such as the equality of individuals and respect for others, as well as consideration for the diversity of opinions and beliefs. It requires social and political institutions that encourage the participation of all.
By fostering distrust, creating division and preventing compromise, disinformation threatens this fundamental feature of democracy.
The evidence reveals that foreign interference comes in a variety of forms, and that the means deployed are evolving. Some actors still use traditional methods, but many are now attempting to interfere in our democracy by engaging in disinformation on social networks. While allegations of interference involving elected officials have dominated public and media discourse, the reality is that misinformation and disinformation pose an even greater threat to democracy.
Some spread disinformation about candidates and elected officials who express views that diverge from their own interests. Their goal is to try and prevent these candidates from getting elected, and to affect policy choices and positions.
Disinformation can sometimes be directed at a political party as a whole, as appears to have been the case in 2021 when the Conservative Party of Canada, under the leadership of Erin O'Toole, was the target of a disinformation campaign (though the evidence could not establish a definitive link to the People's Republic of China)."

This is supposedly from Shropshire NHS Trust. I find this advice re: rapid tests curious. The last point suggests a high rate of false positives. But rapid tests are known for false negatives wrt PCR, not false positives. Perhaps someone can enlighten me.
