I hate that you're right. It's true that anyone with access to a good PC and knowledge of game dumping can emulate these games and many more with ease, but not everyone has access to a good PC or can afford one.

What bothers me is that NSO isn't a solution for long term game preservation, which I doubt Nintendo has any real interest in. The instant Nintendo stops supporting the Switch and Switch 2 and NSO is shut down, all of those games will be gone with it.

It just tells me that Nintendo can still do the Virtual Console on the Nintendo Switch, but they just don't want to do it anymore.
