I congratulated him on his new term and reaffirmed @europarl.europa.eu’s commitment to ensure that taxpayers’ money is used efficiently and in the best interests of all Europeans.

A pleasure to visit the General Court of Audit of Saudi Arabia this week with Member @helgaberger.bsky.social for engaging discussions on artificial intelligence in audit work, performance auditing, and the ongoing work of INTOSAI’s Professional Standards Committee (PSC).

the European court of Auditors on his recent visit to Luxembourg last September.

My sincere condolences to all those who mourn his loss. 🕊️

A productive two days in #Copenhagen with ECA Member Bettina Jakobsen.

- Deputy Minister of Economy & Finance, Nikos Papathanasis
- Minister of Justice, Georgios Florides

🇬🇷 Yesterday in #Athens with ECA Member Nikolaos Milionis, I engaged in meetings with the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Nikitas Kaklamanis, and the Minister of Environment & Energy, Theodoros Skylakakis, to highlight the ECA's role within the #EU & some of our recent publications of interest.

In Strasbourg yesterday, I engaged with the @europarl.europa.eu Conference of Committee Chairs, with discussions facilitating the Committees’ audit proposals for the ECA’s upcoming 2026+ work programming process, and our ongoing 2025+ work programme.

A pleasure to welcome a delegation from the United Arab Emirates Accountability Authority (UAEAA), led by President Humaid Abushibs

Along with ECA Member Helga Berger, we exchanged views on the use of #AI in auditing processes, audit methodologies, and approaches to combatting fraud.

Nice to welcome former Member and now Lithuanian Minister for Finance, Rimantas Šadžius, to the ECA this week to discuss the #RRF, the 2027 Lithuanian Council Presidency & upcoming ECA reports.

Minister Šadžius also met with Members Laima Andrikienė, @mihailskozlovs.bsky.social & Ivana Maletić.

In the scope of #Poland25EU, I attended ‘The European Way of Growth’ Conference in Krakow yesterday, speaking on the panel ‘How does the Cohesion Policy build a strong Europe?’.

I highlighted the financial instruments involved in #CohesionPolicy, the ECA’s work on #cohesion, & future challenges.

Congratulations to @ec.europa.eu President @vonderleyen.ec.europa.eu & the College of Commissioners who were sworn-in yesterday at the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg.

It was great to meet with Irish Commissioner Michael McGrath to wish him the best of luck in his new role.
