The movement drew my eye to the pendant that laid on the exposed part of his chest in his unbuttoned shirt. I looked at his face again in time to catch the nervous lick of his lips. He sucked the lower one in between his teeth, preparing himself to speak his line on stage.

The hand that put his glasses on rested in his pocket for only a moment. He brought it up to adjust his shirt collar. The only tell that he was feeling nervous in the public setting.
