It remains to be seen how this promised "drawdown" in MN will go, but in the meantime as the prez admin declares "victory!" people in MN are hitting a new crisis of overdue rent, failing businesses, and traumatized kids with learning loss. This was always the "best case" end and still it's so bad.

I’m on the scene at Franklin and 1st. A convoy of about a couple dozen ICE/HSI agents broke the entryway into an apartment building at 6am. No warrant presented. Less than 24 hours ago, Tom Homan announced the end of large convoys in Minnesota… Bullshit.

ICE detained multiple kids (all under the age of 10!) in the last week alone. Still kidnapping people based solely on the way they look. Still arresting parents at school pick up.

Nothing has changed in Minnesota. Nice words from the Admin won’t change that. ICE leaving will.

The SAVE Act is just another attempt at a poll tax. Same shame new name. It would require you to present your birth certificate or your passport in order to vote. Who has their freaking birth certificate!? In Pennsylvania for example it costs $30. Passport costs $165. Both require long lead time.

Nothing has changed. Minnesota still under attack.

An employee of the contractor with personal knowledge of events explained during a meeting with counsel of record how he discovered that the System did not record footage from October 20 to October 31, 2025,” the government’s attorneys wrote. “His explanation of events eviscerates any vestigial relevance of plaintiffs’ Third Set of discovery requests which assumes that spoliation occurred in this case.”

Earlier the government argued the 10 days of missing footage had been "irretrievably destroyed," then it argued it was lost in a "system crash." Now it says that the footage never existed at all and is therefore not "missing" and they cannot be held liable
