A year ago a film I made about a tiny little garden beside St Paul’s Cathedral unexpectedly went viral.

Hidden there is a Roman pavement, a sculpture by Jacob Epstein, and a 3,000-year-old Assyrian brick. Its a remarkable little corner of the City.

I still utter a little wow when it comes into view. But then the landscape all around there means I'm saying 'wow' quite a few times. Must have been an amazing time excavating there. I wonder what it was for, who commissioned it and most of all - what it was called.
