Like ... if each remake or legacy sequel was something like PREY or ROMEO + JULIET, with a new creative take on something familiar, I'd get exactly as excited as I do about wholly original things.

I've been a "MAKE NEW THINGS" chanter for a long time because I get annoyed at every new announcement of another remake ... but I think if I was seeing more of the attitude you guys are expressing FROM the people announcing the movies, I'd be more bullish about the whole operation.
