This freaked me out a little because the effort it would take to track down my agent and then leave a message for me is more than it would be to just reach out to me.

I got a message from my agent yesterday which was just a forward of a voicemail a person left her. The person was trying to reach me because he saw my picture and wanted me to work a healing ceremony.

In last night's game, I threw three wickermen mechs at my players. One of them responded by summoning up the spirits of the Emerald Ash Borer Beetle and then sent the spirits to attack the mechs. 🤣

Honestly, people calling creators the "petite bourgeoisie" makes me want to snap.

We're working folk. And we work really hard. For next to nothing.

We're not lounging around eating bonbons. We're trying to figure out how we're going to be able to pay rent next month.

Capitalism is so smart cuz if u have lots of disposable income, u hardly ever have to see ads but if u can only afford a $8 Netflix subscription boy does Chanel at Sephora have deals 4 u and your no money

This includes having made my desired gross income through my gaming, writing and crafting efforts. Having gotten Coven & Crucible: Beyond out. And finishing the edits for A Witch Is.

I did all that. It wasn't easy. And I'm proud of what I have done.

So I have a hard time celebrating my successes. Growing up my accomplishments were always dismissed or ignored. In light of that, I'm trying to get better at feeling proud when I do what I set out to.

This year I've managed to do everything I tasked myself with at the beginning of the year.

So, this hasn't been the worst event I've vended at all year, but it is in the top 3.

Since moving I've managed to do more events in a month and a half than in the 3 years I was in Wyoming. Even so, there are less attendees and they are spending less money. All my vendor friends are reporting the same. Being a small business or artisan right now is tough.
