It's 2025 and I can't wait for the new episode of Dexter

Not going to lie, for me, this is one of the most important cinema essays in the last while... and one of the reasons I continually find myself yelling at the movie screen.
(Although, I do wonder if Conclave slipped on under the radar and is far bleaker than people realize... I hope so!).

Checking back in on X after having left a few months ago is genuinely disquieting. The masks are just completely off. What was unspeakable 10 years ago is now proudly proclaimed. The fringe has become commonplace. The gears are fully in motion.

Frustrating to see how Jurassic World Rebirth continues the (meta-) assumption that people no longer care about dinosaurs. Like no, people still care. They care a lot. They just don’t care about shitty stories

Great movie!

Early thoughts on Death Stranding 2 (just getting into chapter 4):
- So good to be back! Gameplay loop as addictive as ever
- Gorgeous presentation!
- Like the new setting, though I do miss those more primordial Icelandic landscapes
- Gameplay is pleasantly streamlined, but maybe too much? ... (1/2)

- Terrain feels much easier to navigate, I've used like 2 ladders and 1 rope in 10 hours, mostly just walk/drive around an obstacle
- Maybe too much strand effect too? I barely have to build anything, feels like everything I need is already there
- That being said, I really want to keep playing!! 😁
