Lost track of the time playing piano, which was very relaxing.

Please always use a harness with a leash to move the pressure to the shoulders and off the neck. Yanking a collar dislodges a dog's neck bones and can lead to paralysis if the dog suddenly turns its head, even off-leash. I had a dog go thru it and it took a $2700 vet school surgery to reverse it.

These chilly rainy late fall days are great for warm lap blankets, hot soup with cornbread, and screenwriting interrupted by cats wanting to step on the cordless keyboard to snuggle.

Kind of amazing how quickly paperwork can build up. I've been sorting, filing, shredding, and recycling all day. Feels good to catch up on getting it all organized.

In college I used to do phone customer service for roadside assistance then hotel reservations and one thing you learn is that there are two kinds of people from all over the world - 1) those looking for someone to yell at, and 2) those mature enough not to blame the $7/hour person they're calling.

The utility is to be a constant reminder of your mortal existence and the passage of time so you live a more enriched life by not taking the fleeting days and moments for granted because they will never come again in this universe. They put what matters at the forefront to banish the insignificant.

My cousin came to town last minute. Spent a lovely evening with her, my aunt, and my uncle, celebrating her birthday and catching up on life's happenings. Ma famille est très unie.

Oh, National Love Your Red Hair Day. I'll spend the day appreciating my red hair, which was brighter red when I was a kid and darkened to auburn as an adult.

Hmm... People enjoying their basic human rights without corrupt hypocritical government officials violating them to make money and/or to simply harm others out of ignorance or malice.

Do you think the reporters are all writing down "Girl, you is all sorts of cray-cray." and "How dumb does this lady think we all are? She's off the deep end and never coming back to the surface." and "Does her head turn 360 degrees and spit fire after she tells her 1000th lie?" followed by doodles?

Standing on the tallest tower of Conway Castle in North Wales in a gusty wind looking down at the large masted sailing ships below.

Always striving to actualize the importance of a person giving themself a bit of leeway, some slack, a few do-overs, several helpings of try-again, many moments of reflection, a couple pats-on-the-back, generous amounts of approach-it-a-different-way, and a solid sprinkling of live-and-learn.

Simple reminder: when you see social media numbers such as likes and views, especially from certain "sites", they lack any credibility whatsoever at this point. So, two million views can be just six views in reality, if that. It's really become meaningless manipulated data.

I like them plentiful - enough to share.

Each day, my cats find me no matter what I'm up to, plop down in my lap, and just contently remain there waiting to be pet, inevitably drawing me back into simply enjoying the present moment in their company before they meander off on their adventures, only to return several times, schedule unknown.

Challenging to ascertain how much of a page/pages an action scene should occupy since a land, sea, sky, or space vehicle chase, personal pursuit, scuffle, full-on melee, ranged combat, daring escapes, and such can be choreographed and captured in such varying ways and scopes.

When do you think the 8,200,000,000 non-billionaires will collectively realize there's no reason to allow any of the 2,800 billionaires to harm non-billionaires? When does it sink in finally that non-billionaires always have the power to not sustain any billionaires who harm any non-billionaires?

A floating chunk of rock from the underworld crossing the waning crescent moon skies of the mortal realm. A giant bladed beastly tentacle protrudes from it. Many chains slink out from orange glowing holes in the rock's surface, ending in patches of darkness, some of which imprison pale ghostly souls collected from the world below. It glides silently from dusk till dawn but since it moves around the world dawn never arrives for it, an eternal warden guarding its condemned passengers. Though usually invisible to most sky watchers, mortals occasionally can glimpse it out of the corner of their eye after they have wronged others.

A floating servant of the underworld traverses the night sky of the mortal realm circumnavigating the globe so as to remain forever in the shadow of the world collecting and guarding its prisoners. It may be glimpsed out of the corner of the eye by those who wrong others.

Enjoying a chill day of screenwriting. I know how to do the effects, so I'm trying not to limit the scope. It's a sci-fi adventure. I've already got ideas for the score, too. Likely have to travel to different regions for some settings. Coming together solidly.
