Yes there are a few options .. the F18A which is a FPGA board that gives you VGA out and a tms-9900 GPU at 100mhz and also the Pico9918 which is similar but runs off a Pi Pico. I have both in my store when they are available.

It worked really well even on a slow 286 to have up to 255 callers one one 286 system. I started with 2 lines, worked up to 4, then 8.

I decided I wanted to make it multi-line.

I had to kick someone off or wait until 1am to log in myself and play my games and check messages etc. This was great but it made it so I was unable to use my TI-99/4A much.. So I decided in 1986 to build my first PC-XT for the BBS

TI-NET never could resolve the network part but was a great single line BBS with online games and forums/downloads

So much for that plan!
