I sent some emails this week I was really excited about. Not a one got a response. 😢

No. Nobody reacted to a single thing I posted on my work page.

I’m convinced FB just makes up stats to make us feel better about being there.

August isn’t even over and I’m tempted to turn on the heated seats in the car. 🥶

I’d forgotten what a pick-me-up doing my nails could be. 💅

Ordered a senior item off a menu for the first time today and realized I could have been doing that for three years now. I feel… old.

The algorithms seemed to have worked. I’ve trained them to turn off news posts. Then today, when I do want news posts, I can’t find any.

I drove into the city today. I can’t believe I used to do that every day for work.

Just as I was starting to feel obese, a random stranger walked up to me and said, “I admire you for not being obese.”

Now I’m like 🤷‍♀️ in so many ways.

When in Boston, do as the Dunkins do.

What I love about this time of year: walking in from a walk at 9:00 pm like it ain’t no thing.

Every now and then, you find a hair stylist who doesn’t prattle on with small talk and inane conversation and just focuses on doing your hair.

Them there’s a keeper.

The number of actionable emails that come in before 9:00 a.m. is astounding.

That half of Florida Georgia Line got voted off the Masked Singer as a has-been makes me feel old and sad.

Her comment made my day.

Perhaps it shouldn’t have, as the kids would have it these days with their “body positivity.”

But it did make me feel good. And I’ll take that any time.

I was feeling dumpy and dowdy before my walk today. A neighbor a few streets down was walking her dog.

She stopped to chat. “I admire your diligence.”

I gave her a gracious nod. “I wish I were more diligent.”

“Well, you look great. You look really fit.”

I went to give blood today as a new Lent thing. Now that I’m menopausal, my hemoglobin can withstand a withdrawal.

However, my vein blew and they couldn’t get any. This happened back in college, too. I have tiny vessels.

I guess this form of making the world a better place isn’t meant for me.
