The Israeli government should allow the international press in to report the truth.

Netanyahu has not allowed outside journalists independent access to Gaza since it launched the war. The rest of the world has to rely on Palestinian journalists and 170 of them have been targeted and killed.

However much you may detest the press, local papers are an excellent way to get a message out. A letter to your local rag, or phone call to the news desk, will be seen by council and shame them.

Good idea. I know lots of people don’t use FB. I only use it for local roadworks, missing cats and I had an Amazon parcel go missing which the wrong recipient kindly posted on our local noticeboard. A friend saw the post and contacted me.

If you on the local FB community notice board you could post the photo and ask if anyone has your parcel.

Yes. We would compete to see who could produce the longest in a day. Different strands of colours used. Great fun. I doubt any kids nowadays would have a clue about French knitting.

You could wind the long strip in a circle and stitch it to make a table mat.

There usually is light at the end of the tunnel. I have been housebound for past five weeks due to flare-up of herniated disc and sciatica. Scared I’d never get out again, but had short walk today.
