New Orb album is definitely an Orb album.

(Well, good with it aside from that the server wasn't being paid enough to begin with, no matter what they made.)

Oh, I am fully aware of this, and good with it. Just wasn't sure, given my general leanings on these subjects, that I had to spell it out.

It's a good-ass album.

Yup, haven't listened yet. Again, no Clint (Clint is plenty busy doing other things, clearly), but they've got I think 3 or 4 albums out with Mary now.

When I get to 25,000 wins in online multiplayer solitaire (I'm just over 22,500), MobilityWare should buy me a fuckin' car or something.

I dunno if I'm fully qualified. I'd need to talk to friends from there and their surviving parents, and then I'd have to figure out 1. if the raw materials still exist to approximate the experience 2. if it'd be even more bleak than the QVC employees' cookbook I have with Hot Dog Soup in it.

There needs to be a 1980s New Jersey Latchkey Kid and Divorced Parent Cookbook.

Testament's new album ain't bad so far. (Please, no one tell me that Chuck Billy does ivermectin commercials or whatever.)

The Orb, Brian Eno and Pop Will Eat Itself (still no Clint, but they've been managing OK with Mary Byker essentially in Clint's old spot) have new records out today, too.

Please don't make me choose between this album and Rebecca Black's new one for favorite album of the year.

Kerry's a solid dude, though, and his solo album is great. I hope he keeps that band together and keeps doing stuff with them instead of getting sucked back into more Slayer stuff.

After the initial shock of it, I realized I was already in a Slayer pit while operating at my pain threshold when he hit me, and I just started laughing, and went back to enjoying the rest of my Slayer concert.

Ahhh, youth.

(I wish Tom Araya's politics weren't perpetually shitty, too.)

That third show was the one I was at with an abcessed molar, and at one point in the show, one of the gigantic 250 pound-ish skinhead dudes that was in the pit swung a fist and hit me RIGHT in that molar.

Oh jeez, shuffle play just served this up.

It took 2 full shows and 3 songs into the 3rd before I got to hear this live, and I shouted myself hoarse yelling "DIE BY THE FUCKIN' SWORD" over and over until they finally did it, and then I stomped up and down and yelled "DIE BY THE SWORD!" in the pit.

My poor spouse is gonna wake up in an hour or two and I'm gonna be all "YOMUTHAFUCKAWHEEEEEEEEEE" when they're just trying to wake up.

Thoughts and prayers for them, they've been living with this full-time for 9 years and married to it for 7.

I have decided this morning that Jack Elliott was the greatest musical genius of our age, for he did both the Barney Miller theme and the Night Court theme.

For the longest time, I thought Venom were the only "I haven't seen this band live, and I still really fucking want to" that I had left out of acts I've been following for a long time, but no, I haven't seen Suede, and I'd love to, save for that whole "I don't want to get COVID doing it" thing.

There are still a few people I don't feel great about listening to or watching (due to their being Like That or a mess in some other ways) that I can't quit yet.

I have given up a lot of music, including artists really close to me, in the name of "I'm not giving this any fucking oxygen", though.

Now listening to Glenn Danzig, Unintentional Comedy Elemental, and wishing he were just that, rather than a guy who tells the crowd at Coachella that he's not one of them wokes or whatever horseshit he pulled out of his ass during the Misfits sets this year.
