If you’re a lawyer with more than a couple of years under your belt, don’t be rude to new calls and junior lawyers in your emails. It just makes you look like a shitty person, and it’s certainly not going to help advance your client’s case. That is all.

I really hate that I have to keep saying this, but: Fraud is on the rise. Do not give money to people you don’t know, haven’t verified, or for agreements that a lawyer hasn’t reviewed. The number of scams I’ve heard of in consults recently would take too many posts to list out.

I was very sad to learn yesterday of the sudden passing of a former colleague from an unexpected health issue. She was very kind and brought a lot of joy to a lot of people. She was also very young (younger than me). Life is so unfortunately and unfairly short sometimes.
I just booked firm photos for team members (including a new hire!). Running my own firm now feels even more real. It's wild how much the practice has grown since I opened @LuceoLegal last year. I've had such a great time so far, and I can't wait to see what's next.✨
Mine both think my lap is the filing system. I clearly need to upgrade them to something like this.
