I enjoyed the fuck out of this game. I appreciated how much they'd accomplished with a limited budget. I liked that they got Tim Russ and Robert Duncan McNeill to do voiceovers. I liked the episodes both popular and obscure they wove into it. But no.

I have put in 36 hours in 11 days, which is monumental for this middle-aged man with a 9 to 5, novels to read, blogs to write, and family to visit. But I'm uninstalling. Probably won't get a refund, but I'm requesting one.

Also, it is satisfying to speak with the Hirogen using the very special-wecial universal translator that says "CAUTION: HIGH ENERGY PLASMA FIELD" on the side. We all love that shit, even the Hirogen.

Anyway, I've always tried to play this game by making logical decisions in the moment, so this doesn't change much. I just lose the security blanket of condescending knowledge of the future. (I hope Jason Alexander is in here)
