Someone at work with whom I've had maybe two interactions in the two years I've been working here pulled me aside today to tell me that I "have allies here." I'm not sure what prompted this person to say this, but it felt good.

As we close the door on 2024, I want to share a few things. I am not big on "resolutions," but I am all about leading with intention. In 2025, I intend to:
⭐Spend more time with my family.

⭐Make more art.
⭐Play more games.
⭐Practice more self care.
⭐Spread more love.

The past few days have been weird, scary, and intense, but I'll be damned if I don't have the best partner, friends, and mom in the entire fucking world.

The third #AdventCalendar tea is “white toasted coconut.” Not a huge fan of coconut in my tea, as it sometimes tastes overpowering (almost like sunscreen). This one is okay, definitely more balanced, but probably not a go-to for me. #Teasky

Same! One of my favorite winter drinks is just steeping ginger and cinnamon with a bit of honey. It just makes my heart happy.

Today’s #AdventCalendar tea is “Yuletide Toddy,” a warm herbal mix of hibiscus, rose, orange, apple, and spices. Sweet, floral, mild, and delicious. #Teasky

I forgot to take my #AdventCalendar picture yesterday, but for my first day of tea from Adagio Teas, I had a cup of their "Reindeer Fuel" blend. It was a nice mix of black tea, peppermint, ginger, mate, and cocoa nibs. The ginger, especially, came through, warming me up on a cold day. #Teasky

One of my weekly "rituals" is just sitting outside and writing, stream of consciousness, whatever comes to mind. It has been a wonderful way to get ideas out, work through difficult emotions, and establish a sense of purpose for each week. 🍃
