The DNC’s social media game is always very strong and youth-centric, and I definitely don’t mean to be a hater. They do a great job.

But I *just* got the soundtrack to K-pop Demon Hunters out of my head. 🤣

I don’t have a problem with it in general, but when half the table is min/max and half is very much not it makes combat design challenging over a long campaign. I try to challenge two players while not smushing the other two, with different tricks each time. :)

I’m three years into a campaign - 81 sessions and counting, 100s of NPCs. Less than 10 of them have last names.

GM ProTip: The vast majority of your NPCs don’t need a last name.

Players never remember them, and it’s extra creative work you don’t need to do when there’s already a lot on your plate.

Unless it’s needed for plot, just drop it. It’s ok.

Every death saving throw they made, they failed. The dice were brutal in their storytelling. 🤣

It ended at the very end of round 11.

They almost took out the BBEG (6hp). They almost TPKed. They *did* finally take down the ritual to end it.

Half the party had gone unconscious once, and everyone was at less than half health.

Level 11, from fully rested to totally out of slots. Whew!

Me: He's a very scary demon. I don't know why y'all are calling him "Daddy".

PCs: He keeps producing new offspring!
