am halfway through this and it is far and away the most difficult fic I've ever done, this is way beyond my skill level but I'm doing it anyway because I'm too invested (read: stupid) to stop now

"fandom has made more of X than there is in the game" yes, that's the entire point? What, you can't read or watch a two-second scene and invent an entire universe behind it? skill issue imo
