Not a bad night for a walk through some eerie liminal spaces. Sometimes I feel more comfortable out here than at home. I think being alone in big spaces built for large groups, feels comforting somehow, like it reminds me of walking through Disneyland alone when no one else was there at 0400.

Going on a walk, went different way. Now on Sahara, singing aloud the song that’s in my head which is Lesley Gore’s “Sunshine, Lollipops, and Rainbows”. I see this, I think, “oh! Is that an art sculpture of some kind, or maybe a memorial for someone?” NOPE! Just some of the city’s natural beauty.

Well, it finally happened. Someone did that thing where they see someone walking on the sidewalk and they swerve into a giant puddle in the gutter to drench them. A giant wall of water washed over me. I’m wondering if I’ll catch #leprosy or just #giardia from the Las Vegas gutter water.

Told my nephew I was going on a walk and he asked me to say hi to “Lucifer’s Store”. So here I am!
