Our military is being paid by an anonymous donor.
Our WH East Wing was demolished for a ballroom - paid for by donors.
These aren’t acts of benevolence or patriotism.
This is the oligarchy assuming control, insidiously becoming part of how we function.
Every American should reject it.
“What we’re seeing is an unprecedented attempt to silence disfavored speech by the government,” said Brendan Nyhan, a political scientist at Dartmouth College. “Donald Trump is trying to dictate what Americans can say.” https://to.pbs.org/46AYg7U

Radar? Yes, but no investment. Future weather models? Yes, but again no investment. I’ve never seen operations devolve faster than the last 6 mos.

Whether you get your forecast from an app on your phone, a website or a meteorologist on TV, most of the underlying information comes from the federal government.

Yeah, it’s been a #Monday. Also, #DopplerRadars are NOT weapons. They are life saving technology that helps identify and allow for #weather alerts that could pose a threat to life and property.

Food for thought. 💭
Large federal workforce firings began at the National Weather Service on Thursday.
The weather service budget is roughly $1.4 billion, about $4 for the average taxpayer.
According to a 2024 report, weather service forecasts provide an estimated benefit of $102.1 billion to the U.S. public.
Same!
